              American Local History Network, Inc. (ALHN)
                          Notice of Election

Petitions to recall Director Eveline Crocker having been
received from more than ten per cent (10%) of the
membership today, in accordance with the Bylaws, an election
has been called, with the polls to open Tuesday, August 15,
2000, beginning at 11 p.m. (EDT); 10 p.m.(CDT) 9 p.m. (MDT) 8 p.m. 
(PDT) for a period of forty-eight (48) hours.

                      VOTING PROCEDURES

1. All voting will take place on the ALHN-Membership-Voting
   List except manual and proxy votes.

2. Members who intend to vote manually or who have given a
   proxy must UNSUBSCRIBE from the ALHN-Membership-Voting List
   PRIOR to the opening of the polls.

3. Proxies must be emailed PRIOR to the opening of the polls
   to:

   President Kathy Leigh, email: kroseleigh@hotmail.com
   Secretary Barbara Lavin, email: irishsun1@juno.com

   The proxy must include the name and email address of the
   individual to whom the proxy has been given and must be
   from the email address provided by the member to the
   Board.

4. Write-in ballots *MUST* be emailed to the following
   *TWO* email addresses (NOT to the list):

   President Kathy Leigh, email: kroseleigh@hotmail.com
   Secretary Barbara Lavin, email: irishsun1@juno.com

5. All write-in ballots will be confirmed by use of a
   "reply to all" email reply prior to the closing of the
   polls. The votes of write-in ballots will be remain
   confidential.

6. Members can change their votes at any time prior to the
   closing of the polls. Those using the ALHN-Membership-
   Voting List can change their votes at that location.
   In the case of a write-in ballot, the last email
   received is the only email that will be counted.

7. Election protests MUST be emailed to:

   President Kathy Leigh, email: kroseleigh@hotmail.com
   Secretary Barbara Lavin, email: irishsun1@juno.com

8. Questions may be addressed to either the President and
   Secretary.

9. In accordance with the bylaws and the Idaho Nonprofit
    Corporation Act, 30-3-70, recall requires a simple
    majority vote of the total votes cast.

10. Should the recall pass, it will take effect immediately
    upon certification of the voting results.
