| This is
me on the left with my favorite aunt inlaw, my Dad's brother's wife. |
|

| I am Eveline
{Texann} Crocker, reared in Montague County, Texas, later Moran, and Albany,
Shackelford County Texas, presently living in Abilene, Taylor County, Texas.
I have had the privilege to live in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and New
Mexico beside my native state of Texas. My Ancestors migrated from
Scotland, Ireland and Great Britain to Virginia in 1635, then migrated
to North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi,
Texas, Oklahoma and finally ---- back to TEXAS.
One of my
passions is History, another is Genealogy. Both go hand in hand with
one another. My major in college was Education, minor in History
and Research but unfortunately I was unable to finish my formal education
but have continued to self- educate myself.
I served
two years in the US Army Women's Army Corp as a Medical Specialist, temporary
duty as a Woman Basketball member for Fourth Army William Beamount Hospital,
Fort Bliss, Texas. I married the Coach, had three beautiful sons
and they gave me six lovely granddaughters and two handsome grandsons.
Their grandfather deceased from me in 1980. I found a family when
I joined ALHN as a member and volunteer, I had no formal computing training,
Have learned everything from friends and experience. |
