I am
46 years old, retired United States Air Force. I graduated from
Huron Senior High, Huron, South Dakota in 1975. I attended
National College of Business in Rapid City for one year before
returning home to Huron. I joined the Air Force in April
1977. I married Gloria Connor from Huron in June 1978. My
first son, Brandon was born in 1981 and Adam was born in 1984. I
was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota until 1986;
Florennes Air Base, Belgium until 1987; Cannon Air Force Base, New
Mexico until I retired. While stationed at Cannon I spent 6
months in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
When I retired from the Air Force in October 1994, we moved to
Yanceyville, North Carolina where we lived until April 1995, when
Gloria and I seperated. I moved to Charlotte in April 1995 and
she and the boys moved there shortly after. I worked in Charlotte
as a manager for a temp labor firm, then for my best friend, Millard
Pratt, as a driver and then floral designer at Shamrock Gardens
Florist, 2119 Shamrock Drive until April 2000. In 1999 I met my
partner, confidant, and friend, William Roberts. We moved to
Gaston, South Carolina while working with Radio Shack, then to the
North/Orangeburg, South Carolina area while I worked with Site-Prep Inc
of NC. I took a year off from all work, except for some part time
floral with a shop in Orangeburg until moving back to the Rock Hill /
Charlotte area. I worked with the Plant Peddler Flower Shoppe in
Rock Hill until December 2003, when I began a job as a floral designer
with Lowes Foods in Fort Mill/Tega Cay where I worked until June
2004. In August 2005, my oldest son and I began
Cre8tive Solutions LLC, I now work out of my home 25 to 30 hours a week
as a Customer Service Rep for Office Depot.
